I had a really hard time getting Katie excited about reading. She ccould sound out the letters but got frustrated easily... until I got these great books. BOB books are the best for new readers. The words are mostly 3 letters and easily sounded out so she has really gained a lot of confidence in reading. She will read me 2-3/ night and as soon as she can read the entire book herself then she gets to color it (the pages are just illustrated w/black and white pictures.
To reward her for doing such a great job learning to read, I took her to the library and she got her very own library card. She was so excited to check out her own books. I know I say this all the time but I can't believe how fast Katie is growing up, and don't remind me that she is going to kindergarten in 3 months!!!

Hey,I've heard of these books...where did you get them???? Good for Katie, I cant believe they are starting Kindergarten already...its crazy!!!!!
I ordered mine through scholastic.(Katie gets the order forms from her preschool)
