Dear Greg,

I just want you to know how much I LOVE you! Thanks so much for the last 9 years, Happy Anniversary. Its hard to believe that we have been together so long yet I can't really remember life before you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You make me a better person. Thank you also for being such a GREAT dad!
Happy Fathers Day. Your girls love you so much and they are both definitely "daddy's girls". Thanks for playing with them, teaching them, and just being here for them.

This weekend Greg and I took a well deserved, well needed getaway to Snowbird where we stayed for our wedding night 9 years ago. We had such a great time just being together. We started out by taking the girls to stay with my dad for the night and then we headed up to Park City to shop (thanks GREG!!!). Then we left for Snowbird and got up there just in time to be get rained on. The rain didnt stop pretty much the entire time but that didnt stop us from enjoying ourselves. Today we rode the tram up to the top of the mountain and it was so cloudy and FREEZING!! But the view (when you could see) was amazing!
Then Greg got the best fathers day present ever, changing a tire in the hail. We hit a pothole coming down the canyon and it tore a 3" hole in my tire, then right as we got out of the car, it starting hailing (lucky us!!) Then once we headed down the canyon again the sun came out and it was beautiful! Of course Greg handled the situation with ease... he's always so good not to get stressed or worry about things, thats one reason I LOVE him so much.

A Night At The Circus

Tonight was Katie and her cousin Ella's dance recital for C&C Ballet academy.

They have loved being in the same class and Katie loved her teacher Ms Dawn. After class on Wednesday she just cried because she was going to miss her so much. (OK so a little dramatic!) But she has had a lot of fun.
The recital was themed "A Night at the Circus" so all the classes did dances having to do with the circus. Katie's class were the Dancing Monkeys. They did such a GREAT job! Katie was so excited to perform and when she got on stage she waved and smiled really big, it was cute. I'll post some video later.

9 Years

Greg and I have been married for 9 years today!
I really am such a lucky girl to have Greg. He is such a great husband and father.
We didn't really celebrate today because we are going to Snowbird on Saturday for a "romantic" get-a-way. So we just took the girls to Zupas and I got beautiful flowers.

I LOVE you! Thanks for 9 great years and to many many more!

Swim Lessons

We did swim lessons with Katie 2 years ago when she was Brielle's age and she HATED it! She cried the entire time and didnt pass the level. So I figured the best thing to do was to wait till Brielle could do the lessons with her and maybe that would help her.

Luckily we got in the same class as some friends too.

So far she is doing great, although she sits an shivers the entire class... we really need to get some fat on her!

HaPPy BiRtHDaY Ella!

The girls cousin Ella turned 5 yesterday and she had a cute "fish" themed party. We had so much fun... the girls love Ella- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Ella got this fun battery operated car which she took all the kids for rides in. Don't you love the view form the front of their house? That is the new Oquirrh Mountain temple- so pretty!

Who needs little boys

Katie has really grown to love bugs this summer. She is constantly asking me to help her find some bugs. Last night we were outside mowing the lawn and it had rained a lot earlier in the day so there were snails everywhere.
The girls were letting them crawl or slither (or whatever they do?) all over their arms. Yes.. they did get a bath! The definetely did not learn this love of bugs from their mother- Thanks Greg!

Happy BirThDaY little BroTHeR!

Today is my little brother Wilson's Birthday. I can't believe he is 18 and graduating from highschool in a few days. I was in highschool when he was born and that doesn't seem like it was very long ago (man I'm old!!!)

Wilson is such a great Kid, he has played baseball since he was little and he's really good. He is an awesome musician and artist. I'm so proud of him and wish him the best of luck!!
