My cousin Jenny was in town last week and we met her and my Grandma at Classic Skating. We thought we were going to $1 days but apparently that doesnt start till later in the evening. luckily they only charged us a few extra dollars and we practically had the entire place to ourselves! The Living Planet Aquarium

Last week for preschool we were learning about Ocean Animals. We took a fun little field-trip to the aquarium. Its been a long time since we have been there and the kids LOVED it! Luckily it wasn't very crowded that day and Greg was able to come with us.

Katie was so BRAVE and could have spent the entire time petting the stingrays. We couldnt get any of the other kids to even try it.

We did see the new penguin exhibit but I didnt get a single picture. It was cute.

Principal's Pride

Katie was presented today with the Principal's Pride Award, for excellence in Mathmatics. She did a GREAT job doing a dot to dot and coloring a picture and Miss Warner submited her name to the principal. We are SOOOOO proud of her! GREAT job Katie!

HaPPy EaSTeR!

We had such a fun Easter. I LOVE when conference falls on the same day. We were able to have an extended weekend with family. Saturday we went to the Jones' and had a lunch and Easter egg hunt. Then on Sunday the girls got baskets from the Bunny himself and then we watched conference and had my mom and Greg's parents over for dinner and to watch the second session of conference. It was the most relaxing perfect day!

I love Conference! The talks were all amazing and I loved hearing from the prophet in every session! He is amazing! Now I'm ready for womens conference in just a few weeks.

2nd Annual CH14th Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Greg and I are "lucky" enough to be the Activity Chairs for our ward. We had our 2nd annual Easter Egg hunt today. The weather didnt really cooperate, it was FREEZING!! I have never seen kids run so fast and after weeks of preparation it was over in about 5 minutes. We had hot-chocoate and muffins and some people hung around for as long as about 20 minutes. But it was fun and we enjoy doing it!

Cousins Sleepover

Breanna and Ella spent the night last night. The girls had so much fun sliding down the stairs, eating pop-corn and hot chocolate and watching a movie.

Easter Decorating

Last night we decorated Easter Eggs. The girls were very creative and wanted their eggs done "just right". They did a fabulous job!

Today my sister in-law Julie invited us over to decorate cookies.
