Go ahead and guess....

what day of the year the following pictures were taken.......
For those of you in Utah it may be too easy, especially seeing the next pictures of my poor plants and garden just planted last week because I was sure that Winter was finally over!!! Hopefully our efforts to save them will work. Have I mentioned how much spring in Utah really frustrates me!!!! Do you realize it will be June 1st in a week???

Best Friends

I LOVE how my girls are Best Friends. Don't get me wrong, they FIGHT a lot, but they generally will always hug and make up and they do have a lot of fun together. Today driving home from St George, I looked in the backseat and they were holding hands while watching their movie... Ahhhh So cute!!!

now so you know they weren't just posing for a picture, the top picture was taken once they knew I had the camera but the picture below was taken before they knew I had the camera (proof: Katie is picking her nose- ugh! I didnt notice this till later)

A trip to St George would never be complete for us unless we hiked "The Pixie" as Brielle calls it. The rest of us may know it be "The Dixie". She even asked if Tinkerbelle would be there? ha ha

pukie park

There is a really cute park near Greg's brother Ryan's house in St George called the "Firehouse Park" it has a fun dog park area and an area for kids. There are however a few too many spinning toys and now it seams that this park shall forever be known to me as the "Pukie park" because I have now seen at least 1 child spin to complete sickness, and loose their lunch everytime I am there. My girls love to spin but luckily have yet to get sick =)

Preschool Graduation

(Carter Paris, Makenna Squire, Andi Manwaring, Luke Dalton, Libby Birrell, and Brielle Jones)

Aren't these kids so cute! I have been so lucky this year to do another co-op preschool with mom's from my neighborhood. Brielle has made some cute little friends and we both had so much fun!
I can't believe it is over, but we are so excited for summer.

My Brielle

I LOVE this little girl. She is full of energy, laughs, and there is rarely a dull moment with her around. She is so independent and is really too smart for her own good!
I have decided to start choosing my battles with her and the one I have given up on is clothing. She is so picky about what she wears which wouldnt be a big deal if she knew how to match or didnt like to layer everything in one outfit. But she is cute, so if thats what she wants who am I to stop her?
So from now on, look forward to seeing her in some interesting outfits =)

Gale Center Fieldtrip

We were supposed to take a field trip today to Wheeler Farm for Brielle's preschool, but it was raining so instead we went to the S.Jordan Gale Center. The kids love the "Childrens Museum" where you can dress up and play in the house, store, school, and farm. I can't believe that the preschool year is over. This group of kids has been so much fun and Brielle really enjoys being friends with all of them.
I will miss teaching them but look forward to sending her to Mrs Emily next year!

Misc...

I have been purchasing my produce through Bountiful Baskets food co-op for a while but each week I am AMAZED at how much stuff I get. I like to lay it out on the counter just to admire my bountious selection. I had to snap a picture at the cute layout the kids helped me create!

This year Mother's Day was GREAT. The kids and Greg bought me these beautiful flowers which I have planted in the backyard and will ENJOY all summer! The girls each made me a cute card. I am so grateful to have the sweetest little girls. Then we went to lunch at my Mom's and then to dinner at the Jones'- it was just a really nice day.

watch me grow!

For a primary activity a few weeks ago the girls planted sunflower seeds. They have been very excited to take care of them each day and they have grown a ton and have been growning so fast! Katie said that they will be taller than Dad soon, so we decided they better get planted in the yard instead of in the little cup in our kitchen. Hopefully we don't forget about them, and I'll be able to post at the end of summer how they've done.

Road Island Diner

My Mom, Grandma, me and the girls all went for a fun ride to Oakley UT for our Mothers Day lunch at the Road Island Diner. It is a fun little diner that opened a few years ago and was originally in Road Island. They brought it here on the back of a truck and fully restored it. Its definetly worth the drive (about an hour).

HaPPy MoTHeRs DaY MoM!! Katie took this picture of me and my mom =)

for a very POPular teacher!

Myself and another mom from Katie's class decorated Miss Warner's door today for Teacher Appreciation week. The theme is ACADEMY AWARDS. I found the idea on this blog , but instead of making cookies I turned it into a door.
We go back on track Monday and I hope Miss Warner likes the door and knows how much I absolutely LOVE her as Katie's teacher. She has been so great!

Lunch at the park

Yesterday the sun was shining so we took the kids to Copperton Park for lunch. It is nice that Greg is available to do some things with us during the day and the kids LOVE to have him there.

Copperton is seriously one of my favorite parks. They have such fun slides, swings, and these tires are HUGE, they must be from old trucks at Copperton. They do make for fun park equipment.

SMILE

Katie's friend Addison invited us to come and see her play "The Wonderful Witches of Oz". The studio is called Up With Kids and it was so cute! The girls and I enjoyed it! Then later that day she lost one of her front teeth and the very next day she lost the 2nd front tooth! Love her new smile! Katie says " Mom, I gotta catch up with Addison!!" Her two front teeth are loose... so it shouldnt be too long! I can't wait, theres nothing cuter!

Choose ye This Day

I had a fabulous time at BYU Women's Conference with some amazing beautiful women (all 15,000 of them!) I really enjoy this opportunity to fill my spiritual oil lamp. I come home with a determination to be a better mom, wife, and woman. Not only because of the amazing speakers and presenters but also because of the great friends and mothers I get to spend the time with. My spirit is renewed but my feet and back are sore!

This year was amazing as always. I have so many things I took home with me that I am excited to work on. I want to be more patient and loving with my kids. I want to be more supportive and kind to my husband. I want to improve my relationship with my Heavenly Father. I hope that I can remember these feeling a few days from now when real life settles in and I start getting frustated with everything.

Wendy, Jen, Jen, and me -

The sun did come out from time to time and it was so beautiful on campus. My favorite time to be on the BYU campus because of all the gorgeous trees and flowers!

Me and my wonderful mother-in law Karma. I LOVE spending this time with her, she is so great! I am so blessed to have her and I'm so glad she is willing to come with me and be dragged all over the place- she's such a good sport. Thanks Karma!

Love this picture- This was Jen Petersen's and Wendy's first year to come and I hope they enjoyed it, because we could make it a tradition to come every year! They were so much fun to be with. Wendy and I even got to sleep together! I am so lucky to have really good role model friends that inspire me to be better.
