So exciting!

Katie is so excited to get baptized next week.  Holly met us at the temple and took some great pictures of her all dressed up- she told me she felt like a Princess- and she definitely looked like one. It was really cold outside but she did such a great job smiling and posing. You could tell she was just thrilled! I am so proud of her and her decision to be baptized. We hope you can all come.

Christmas 2011

Christmas Eve:  We had a nice dinner with the Paris' and then made cookies and got ready for Santa! The girls love tracking Santa on the computer and were so excited to go to bed so that Santa would come. Buddy the elf has been having lots of fun this year appearing in different places around the house each day. This year on his last day he was zip lining from the fan to the tree so that he would be sure not to miss Santa Christmas Eve. We will miss you Buddy and can't wait till next year.

Santa came!  Katie got a jewelry box w/earrings and a Lalaloopsy doll. Brielle got rollerblades and a Lalaloopsy doll. and Jessie got babyfood, binkis, and diapers from Santa.

Greg and I worked for weeks to make our present for the girls.  We made them some doll furniture for their American Girl dolls. A couch and love seat with an ottoman, and bunk-beds. Greg designed the wood work and put it all together and then I sewed up the cushions, pillows, and blankets. It was a LOT of work but we got it done just in time. I think they turned out pretty cute :)

The girls embracing after exchanging sister gifts... I think they were happy! Brielle gave Katie a Wuggle pet kit (basically like a build a bear) and Katie gave Brielle a doggy purse.  The girls gave Jessica a mini pillowpet.

Jessie enjoyed her very first Christmas.  We basically wrapped up some toys from the playroom. She is really getting interested in toys and loves to grab at things and put them in her mouth.
Jessica tried her baby food for the first time. It was applesauce and she LOVED it. She was diving for the spoon and would get so mad when you took the spoon out of her mouth to get more. YUMMY!
Amy sent the girls these cute sleeping bags. They slept in them Christmas Eve, very cute!

My Mom and Grandma came over to our house for breakfast... I didnt get any pictures, I guess I was starving!  Then we had church. It was a really  nice meeting with just sacrament. We sang songs (I'm in the choir and Katie sand with all the 8 year olds in the ward).
Then we went to Greg's parents for dinner. Brent gave Greg this shirt and they were all ready for the Sadie Hawkins dance- LOL.

The day after Christmas my Dad, Linda, and Wilson came out for dinner and it was a lot of fun.

The Christmas card that didnt happen

I had all intentions of doing a Christmas card this year but it didnt happen. So here is the photo that I got of the my Family.. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

Scott and Julie had a free picture with Santa at their new reception center The Old McMullin House. We were so excited to finally get to see the Old Jolly Man.

BIG K RANCH

Brielle's Kindergarten class had their cowboy program just before Christmas. Mrs Nelson has been putting together this cute show for years and I was looking forward to having Brielle be a part of it. It was so cute and definitely didn't dissapoint.

Brielle and her cute friend Morgan.
Brielle painted her rock that was around the campfire.
the class pets Sparky the Magnifigant and Cocoa- not sure which one this is. Mrs Nelson just lets them roam around the classroom and the kids can hold them. So fun!

Temple Square

We LOVE to see the LIGHTS at Temple Square!
We picked a great night to go, it was not too cold and the crowds were manageable. Its been a while since my kids have got to just walk around temple square including the visitor centers. Jessie slept the entire time in her cozy and warm stroller. :) good baby!
My favorite colors are the pink trees by the Assembly Hall, the Orange Tree by the Assembly Hall and the huge red tree by the front gate of the temple. It seemed like there were more lights this year than years past, or they were just not covered by snow? Either way it was beautiful!

Its GREAT to be 8...

8 years ago today I became a Mom!  I never imagined how much I would grow to LOVE her. She is such an amazing daughter. She is the sweetest, tender, and most compassionate person. I can't believe how much she has grown up lately. She has really started to come out of her shell. She is so smart and is doing GREAT in school. She is such a help with Jessie and she LOVES her so much.

Katie woke up to a decorated room
Greg, Brielle, Jessie and I met Katie at school for lunch

After school we took her to get her ears pierced
