Happy New Year! I can't believe that 2010 is over, although I won't say I'll miss it terribly. It has been a pretty rough year for me, but at the same time I do feel like we have grown closer as a family and my faith and testimony have grown. I truly know that we could not have made it through the year (especially financially) without our Heavenly Father. Somehow he has helped us make things work and we really have been blessed. Sending Katie to 1st grade has also been a huge struggle for me. I still struggle with having her gone all day and miss her terribly! But she is growing up so much and I am so proud of her!
So I am so excited about 2011 and what the new year has in store for our family! I know there will definetly be struggles and challenges, but we will also be blessed.
We got together with a group of friends at the Paris' this year to celebrate the New Year. We played fun games and laughed a lot!

A competition of Just Dance Kids (or adults)

The kids watching TV... Katie didnt make it to mid-night, but I'm not sure she ever has. She is such a sleeper. She kept begging to go home and go to bed. Brielle on the other hand, enjoyed staying up and infact did not want to go to sleep when we got home at 12:30.
My camera is acting so wierd. I could not get a good picture outside. It was soooooo cold!!

Katie finally woke up and came outside for a minute, but went straight home and to bed.
Here are some of my new years resolutions so that I can remember:
Have a clean kitchen and dishes done before going to bed each night (I did so good at this last year, I think I lasted until February.... this year I hope to last a little longer) I can't believe the impact this has and how much easier it makes keeping the entire house clean when there aren't dirty dishes always stacked in the sink.
read my scriptures every day
pray daily
be more organized, especially relating to my kids activities and things they have to get done.
be more patient and not yell so much at my kids
eat healthier
excerisize more
I think thats enough.... hopefully I can be better and do better in 2011!
