Fathers Day & Our 13th Anniversary Getaway to Snowbird

We got a great deal on a night at Snowbird thanks to my step-mom Ruth!  I decided to surprise Greg with a fun day on the mountain with the kids for Fathers Day/Anniversary and a night stay at the Lodge.  We had so much FUN! We may just have to do it every year :)

Taking the chair lift up to the Alpine Slide.  Greg and Brielle had a little crash on the slide our 2nd time down (he was trying to show her how fun it is to go FAST- :( I was afraid it was going to ruin the entire day but she is so brave and was willing to try again, with me--- and she LOVED it and eventually wanted to ride on her own)

 the Air trampoline and Bungie Trampolines were a big HIT! 

 The favorite ride of the day was the Mountain Flyer. Since it was a slow day and very few people riding the rides the operators let us ride if OVER and OVER and OVER again--- we couldnt get the girls OFF the ride I think they rode it close to 30 times!

 The Alpine slide was fun

 We took the Tram to the top of the mountain. There was snow up there! But it wasn't really cold (probably 60) what an AMAZING view!

 We also really enjoyed the pool at the Lodge- the girls are becoming amazing swimmers this year! I am so proud of them :) Its so nice to be able to let them go and they can play without bulky life jackets or tubes!

 During the day while we were riding all the rides, Jessie played with Allison (Nathan) and Julie and Megan! Then my mom brought her to us and ate dinner with us- thanks Mom!!! She enjoyed the pool- especially the hot tub. 

It was a wonderful getaway! Beautiful weather and not crowded ( i guess last weekend was super crowded because of Fathers Day and Brew Fest) we really had a GREAT time!
