Amy & Colton

My sister Amy came out to visit the week of October 8-15. We had just gone out to see her in Texas in June but it was so fun to see her again. She was able to bring just Colton this time.
He is such a cutie!
We went to the Mayan for dinner and the show was pretty cool. They've upgraded their entertainment since last time I went there. They had the cliff divers but also some really cool areobatic tricks. One with a hoop and this lady doing some cool tricks suspended about 30 feet above the water. And another lady did some really neat things with these long draped pieces of fabric rapping herself around with it and then spinning towards the water and catching herself. It was pretty cool. Colton was scared to death of the shows, he looks very concerned in this picture :)
We took the Trax train from the new station just right by our house. We rode it all the way up to the Primary Children's hospital (end of the line) and then rode it back to Gardner Village for dinner and a hunt for witches.
We met my Dad and Wilson for dinner at Olive Garden. I can't believe I didnt get a picture of Wilson.
Friday we went to the zoo. Brielle fell and hit her chin getting out of my mom's truck :( But it was a GREAT day at the zoo. The weather was perfect and it wasn't too crowded.
The last night Amy was here we just hung out at my Mom's until really late. It was so fun to be with my Sister and I was so glad she was here to help me during this crazy week (more on that later!) I wish she lived closer. Hopefully we'll see her again soon.

Jessica's Blessing Day

Bugs and fish

Guess who finally got his bug back? That's right... after 2.5 years we finally went and picked it up while we were in St George and brought it home. It still has a little work to finish up and then it will be drive-able. Greg couldn't be happier and we are all excited to get a ride... hopefully soon

For our Birthdays, My Mom got tickets for Greg and I to take the girls to Little Mermaid at the Tuacahn theater in St George. It was so amazing!!!
It had rained all day and we were so afraid the show was going to be cancelled but the only had to stop the show twice due to rain and then it was start right back up again. It was such an amazing show, it was well worth it. And the rain just made me feel like I was "under the water" it is Little Mermaid after all :)
Luckily we came prepared
We got to meet Kind Triton. And I was all prepared to wait in a huge line to meet Ariel and the girls both said they would rather go home and go to bed... I have crazy kids! But it was a long and FUN FUN day!
THANKS MOM!!!

And of course we couldnt leave St George without hiking.

Vegas Baby

We had a GREAT time in Vegas for Greg's Birthday. His birthday wish every year is to go visit his Brother and go to the VW bug show. Katie and Cherese stayed up really late one night making a yummy cake for Greg. Katie says "mom, we are on vacation don't worry about the time". She's right and she LOVES spending time with her Aunt- they made a delicious cake.
We also watched conference.... at least most of it
We got to spend time playing in the water enjoying the last of the warm weather. When we got home there was a cold front and the temps dropped to the 40's with snow.
Jessie did awesome the entire trip. But this picture totally cracks me up. Brielle apparently got the camera at some point. Poor little baby appears not to be happy. But overall she did wonderful and I have to say it is so nice to have the girls sitting back there with her. They help out so much getting her binki and keeping her happy.

Happy BiRtHDaY to ME

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fall leaves. So for my birthday I decided to take my favorite people on a drive up the canyon, I couldn't have asked for a better day! :)

Random...

Its what LOVE is...
The school carnival was changed from spring to fall this year. I enjoyed it, the weather was GREAT and the girls as always had a GREAT time!

Our memories is all we'll have

One of Greg and I's first dates was to his family's cabin which at the time was just barely being finished. He told me about how his dad, brothers and him had built much of the cabin over a few years. We had so much fun riding on the 4-wheelers on these long trails that I was sure were lost several times. Since then we have spent a lot of time at the cabin with family and friends and have made lots of special memories that I will always cherish. Unfortunately his Dad recently sold the cabin and so we went up for one last family get together at the cabin. It was pretty sad to think that we won't be going up there again. We LOVE the cabin and will miss it! :(
I hope my kids will remember the cabin. I wish Jessie could have enjoyed it more ;)

Thanks for the memories Jones'
