Warning: Holly don't look at this post ;)

Greg was working on the basement on Saturday while I was at Costco with the kids. He calls me and just say "I've done something bad, where are you?" NOT something you want to hear! Luckily my neighbor was home and he was able to take him to the emergency room. 12 stitches later!!! 

apparently he isnt sure exactly how it happened but he was using a razor blade knife to cut out some sheet rock near the ceiling and it slipped. I guess he thought he would just catch it with his other hand. Luckily no tendons were cut and he should heal just fine. But it sure looks and I'm sure feels pretty gruesome.  

Huge accomplishments!

Snuggling sisters!  

Heaven help me this little girls is growing up WAY too fast!! She has made some huge accomplishments in the last week! She is now pulling herself up on anything that she can. When I "try" to put her down for naps she immediately pulls herself up on her knees and calls for me to come and get her. It takes a good 5-6 times of laying her back down to finally work. This morning when I went to get her she had pulled herself all the way up to standing! You can tell she is just so proud of herself and LOVES it- until she realizes she can't get down, then there are some white knuckles and a few tears.  I can't believe it- she's be 7 months in a week!  She is also now sleeping through the night (at least the last 3 nights anyway from 8-7:30)  YAY!!!!!  I feel better already. Maybe all this crawling and constant going is wearing her out- me too!

Brielle's Rainbow PaRtY

Brielle has been looking forward to today all week. I think she was confused on when her "actual" birthday is. Today was her friend party and she wanted a rainbow party.  Greg and I made a fun rainbow cake- it was actually pretty easy to make and it turned out so cute. You just have to have a bunch of 8" round pans and food coloring. 

 The wild bunch! I have never been so tired- and thats saying a lot considering I have a 6 month old who still is not sleeping through the night.  This group had lots of energy and we had 2 hours of FUN! I'm so glad Brielle has some GREAT friends (and cousins)!

My life is about to get more difficult!

I remember distinctly looking forward to my first child to sit, crawl, get teeth... everything was so exciting and I couldnt wait for each new thing.  NOT THIS TIME! I want my little baby to stay little!!! Yet she is determined despite my discouragement and downright begging. Her newest skill is kindof an army crawl that will get her wherever she wants to go. I can no longer leave her in a spot on the carpet and expect her to stay put- and she is VERY interested in all things that she shouldn't have- ARGHH!!

Brielle's birthday WEEK

 HaPpY BiRThDay BrIeLLe! 

We had dinner last night with Nana and Grandma at Red Robin to celebrate. Then this morning she woke up to a decorated room (a tradition) This year the theme for her birthday is rainbows.  She had to go to school but she was excited to share a treat with her class.  Then after school we met some friends for lunch at Chick-fil-a. The owner of Chick-fil-a in Jordan Landing used to live in our neighborhood. He is such a nice guy and he let Brielle serve up her own ice-cream cone and gave her a stuffed cow. She couldn't be happier! 

 Tonight we had her favorite dinner and had some cake and ice cream. 

 She opened her presents from us- Legos! Finally they made some legos for girls. Greg and the girls had a LOT of fun putting them together (I think Greg may have enjoyed it the most!) 

The birthday festivities are FAR from over- her friend party is on Friday and then dinner with the Jones' on Sunday.... let the partying continue!

Jessica's first tooth!

This Happy Smiling baby has been teething (who knew?!?) Well besides the constant drooling and putting everything in her mouth!!  She cut her first tooth today.  My baby is growing too fast! 

 Side note: My reward for finally cleaning my messy closet- a broken toe!  I won't be doing that again anytime soon!  This is the 3rd time I have broken this same toe! OUCH!! Nothing like wearing flip flops in February with snow on the ground.

At least my toenails look pretty :)

We had a fun and busy Valentines Day! Both girls had parties at school that I got to go to. I had my camera but didnt take a single picture!  Holly and the girls left a fun treat on our porch- she is so creative and does the cutest things. Nana and Papa also dropped off some yummy treats. My Grandma also gave the girls are cute Valentines package. We are so lucky to have such a GREAT family that shows us how much they love us ♥

 We had a fun candle lit dinner with the kids.

 I made ribs, sweet potatoes, asparagus and yummy creamcheese stuffed strawberries.. the picture doesnt do them justice (my drizzling skills are not the greatest!) but they were the yummiest!

 Greg gave me beautiful flowers... the girls were smelling them so much they broke off a few flowers. I didnt realize I took the picture from this angle. They were gorgeous! I ♥ you Greg, thanks for being my Valentine!
