7 ?!?!?

Its true... my little girl is 7. I can hardly believe it!!!

She wanted a "Late Over" party. So we had her friends wear pajamas and bring a pillow. We had dinner, opened presents and then watched "Wreck It Raulph".  Brielle has some cute friends, it was   a lot of fun!
Her party was actually the day after her birthday. On her birthday we took her to Planet Play for dinner. I feel bad I hardly took any pictures of her entire birthday. I think after taking a gazillion in Disneyland I was all pictured out! But we had lots and lots of fun, trust me!

Santa Monica Pier

Our last day in California it was 80 degrees and we be-lined for the beach and the Santa Monica Pier. It was a perfect end to a perfect trip!

Disneyland 2013 (sorry for the picture overload)

Its been Almost 2 1/2 years since our last trip and I didn't realize how much I missed it!
Disneyland is so magical and fun.
Our first night, after being in the park all day we had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen.

The highlight of our trip was seeing the Paris' (our most favorite family!!!)  We miss them terribly and it was great to spend time with them in the Happiest place on earth :)
Jessica did not enjoy the characters. She would hide her face and refuse to look at them.
Cars Land is SOOO cute!!!  We loved it :) I think it may be my new favorite place in Disneyland.

 YUMMY!!! LOVE Disneyland food
My cute Mom and her friend Coty came with us this time. I could NOT have done it with out them. They helped a TON with Jessica and even took her for 2 of the days so we could just have the other girls at the park all day. Such a LIFESAVER!!!

These cute kids had so much fun riding all the rides together. What a cute bunch
We were so sad to say goodbye to them... but as always all good things must come to an end :( Good thing we got to stay in Disneyland another day to lift our spirits.

and we finally found who Jesie LOVES.... princesses! She even gave Snow White and Rapunzel hugs :) so cute!

5 days went by super fast and we had FUN every second!  LOVE Disneyland!!!

Talent Show- Brielle

Brielle was excited to play a song on the piano for the talent show at school. She played "Bells on the Steeple" and she did a GREAT job! I hope my girls continue with piano and find many other talents they want to develop.

SNOW!!!

We have gotten A LOT of snow this year! Our street and yard have been covered in snow since Christmas.  But until this last week it has been too COLD to enjoy it. So when it finally got above freezing and we had just gotten fresh snow earlier this week we took the kids sledding to the park near our house. It was so much fun!! All of us enjoyed it, even Jessica.

Jessie was having so much fun sledding... but I think she enjoyed  just eating the snow the best :)

Character Counts

Brielle was chosen by her teachers to recieve the Character Counts Award for January- as a Leader of being Compassionate in her class. Each month the teachers select 1 child in their class that exhibits the given trait for that month. Mrs Russell and Mrs Maxfield had this to say about Brielle:
"Brielle is kind to everyone. She is very proactive in the way she responds to others. She thinks about the situation and then responds in an appropriate manner. Brielle is thoughtful to others and wants to help them. She is willing to listen to others ideas. Brielle makes our classroom a safe and happy place to be."

I couldnt agree more with Brielle's teachers. Brielle is compassionate and cares about others. She is a good friend to everyone and genuinly cares about others. I am so proud of her!

Reflections

Katie moved onto the next level for reflections and they had an awards ceremony for about 6 schools (150 students). She received a participation award.  And even though she didn't move onto the ne xt highest level,  we are so proud of her and hope that she has a desire to continue to enter next year.  There were some pretty amazing entries, I love seeing how children can be creative!
