day of 1sts

Brielle not only started 1st grade today but she also played her 1st soccer game (of this season).  She played about a year and a half ago but I was a little worried because now she is playing with 1st/2nd graders and she hasn't played in a long time. Some of these kids are really quite good and I was worried she would just skip around the field :)   She actually did OK, running after the ball and even kicking it a few times.  However.... I did catch some pretty funny pictures of her and her friend Kennedy playing defense in the field... I guess waiting for the ball to come their way game them a little time to do... hmm not sure what, but it looks like fun :)

1st day of school (Brielle)

Its hard to believe that my little Brie is a 1st grader. She was so excited to go to school today and I am still not sure how I feel about it. She has some great teachers (2) this year. Mrs Russell and Mrs Maxfield- two super cute teachers that jobshare. She was excited to eat lunch at school and she loved that her teachers read stories to her.

Bear Lake 2012

You can't go to Bear Lake without having shakes from LaBeau's!

We took a bike ride from Blue Water into Garden City. Jessie slept the entire way.

 Jessie LOVED the beach! She was so cute and loved to play in the sand with her Daddy and the girls.

 The Master sand castle builders spent entire day making this beauty! It was fun and the girls LOVE that there Daddy plays with them.  I was mostly keeping Jessica from eating all the sand and destroying everything as it was being built. 

 When we left we got stuck behind about a 1,000 sheep on the road. They were being moved to a new corral I'm assuming. 

 We borrowed the Jones' motorhome for the trip and the best part about it was how comfortable the girls were. They zonked on the way home. I guess the trip was a success! 

We'll summer is officially over! We are starting school next week .... new adventures to come :)

Birthday Party for 2

 We had all the family over today for a BBQ and to celebrate Jessica and Papa's birthdays. We sang Happy Birthday Jones' style- I would upload a video but it would probably just be too loud and obnoxious. You have to be there to experience the real thing... most babies are scared by it- but Jessie survived.

Yummy cake! She has actually eaten cake many times in her life. She is a sweet's baby for sure! She will freak out if you have something sweet and you don't share. She enjoyed the cake and made a big mess.

Happy Birthday baby girl!

We had such a fun day celebrating Jessica's 1st Birthday.  I can't believe that she is one. The time has just flown by and she seems like such a baby to me still.  Of course I say that but in the same breath I can't believe how much she has grown and how stinkin big she is! She is so fun and crazy and silly and cute! We LOVE her so much-

 We spent the day dowtown at City Creek, the temple, and the church children's museum. Jessie enjoyed it all! She is such a ham... I captured a few pictures that really capture her personality- ♥ it!

 Then we topped off the day with Leatherby's for dinner and a birthday treat! She was unsure about the singing and attention but she LOVED the icecream!
