School Choir

Katie sang in the school choir this year. My cute friend Jen Petersen led the choir (volunteering her own time!) and put an amazing program together with fun songs from the 60's. They also got to wear these cute tie-dyed shirts. It was a fun night :)

May catch-up!

Before the girls were done with school Jessie and I decided to go on an outing- just the 2 of us. So we went to Wheeler Farm to see the animals! She LOVED it!!! She was not afraid of the animals at all- and wanted to get close enough to hug them all. She knows the sound all the animals make- so cute!

My cute Grandma!! ♥

I have the cutest sweetest Grandma! She recently got a makeover (new hair color, makeup) she looked so cute I had to take some pictures. She looks so young!!! I can't believe she is 83. I love my Grandma ♥

Womens Conference

We had a great time at Women's Conference again this year! It was GREAT to spend time with friends and other women who are all trying to become better mothers, wives, sisters, friends, neighbors etc... I LOVED hearing all the messages that renewed my desire to do better and be better!

 This picture cracks me up!!! Jen and her Mom switched faces on this app called Face Juggler... I don't think I've laughed so hard in a LONG time!!!  those eyebrows--- OH MY!

Jessica

Jessica FINALLY got her cast off!! YAY :)   She is doing awesome. I was worried that she would have a hard time walking for a while but she only stumbled for a minute and then she's been going strong ever since.
She also said her first official word today- "APPLE" its so cute :)

 Thought I'd add some cute photos I downloaded from my phone. Nothing like a friend to help you out when you can't get around :) and she LOVES her binki's I hope we have an easier time getting rid of the binki then we had getting Katie to stop sucking her fingers :)

At 20.5 month:  Jessie has had no desire to talk! She does say a few words like "Momma", "Nana", "ah-oh", "Dada" she also does some animal sounds.  I love hearing her try to communicate, lots of babbles and squeals. so cute! But "Apple" is the first official word that she can say! YAY- hopefully lots of words follow :)

Leader of Being a Role Model

I am so proud of Katie!  She was nominated by her teacher for this months Character Counts Award for her class.  She got an award and her picture with the principal Mrs Bona.  

Way to go Katie!!! 

Her teacher had this to say:  "Katie is a great example of being a Leader. She is always respectful, kind, and helpful. She is always thoughtful of others feelings and she is a great example for her classmates. She is very imaginative and is a great story teller! Her classmates say she is always fun to be around"

Egg Drop

The girls school does an annual egg drop. Its a lot of fun! They have the kids put the raw eggs in any contraption that they think will save the egg when it is thrown from the roof of the school. They get a treat if it survives and a treat if it doesn't. So its fun for everyone :)

 Both girls' egg survived. And they came up with the ideas on their own this year. Way to go! Katie even made a homemade paratute out of paper and it worked great.
