We are so lucky to live in here where we are just a few minutes drive from the most beautiful mountains. I LOVE the mountains and can't wait for camping this year. The girls did so great on our little hike (just up Big Cottonwood Canyon). Katie was so surprised to find out that her favorite bug (the potato bug) also lives in the mountains. We found every bug along the trail!
I grew up camping, every weekend my mom would take us to Redman or the Spruses, we have stayed in every spot in both campgrounds. So being in the mountains brings back the most cherished of my childhood memories. I hope to continue this tradition with my family and hope they enjoy it as much as I did.

I sure miss those mountains! they sure look beautiful.. not only the scenery I miss but I am so lost without the mountains. Don't ever know which is North, South, East and West....

That's definitely one of my favorite things too! We also always did that as a kid and now I appreciate how much work it is to get everyone out when it is soooo much easier to stay home and watch TV on my couch!
