I'm so thankful no one was hurt!!! I'm so thankful my kids were at home!!! I'm so thankful it wasn't my fault!!! I'm so thankful that I am not injured minus a few bumps and bruises and burns(from the airbag)!!
Crazy how fast something can happen that puts your life spinning LITERALLY! I was on my way to pick up Greg who had gone biking this morning and got a flat tire. Katie had a friend sleep over and they were awake but Brielle was still in bed, so I left the girls home (after a call to the friends mom and neighbor) so that I could just quickly pick up Greg.
I was at the intersection of 9000s and 4800W and was heading North through the intersection (Green light) I didnt see any card in the intersection when I entered but then all the sudden I felt the impact and my car is spinning. I was in shock I think I quickly got out of the car after pushing the door open and ran to the other car, the girl was OK but couldnt open her door either. She was bleeding a little I think from the airbag hitting her in the face. She was just saying over and over "I'M SO SORRY!!" I had no idea what had just happened!
The police report and witnesses confirmed that I was going through a green light and she was turning left in front of me and she pulled out. I didnt see her!! I keep going through it over and over in my head, I can't figure out why I didnt see her. Was I looking another direction? Was I sortof spacing, thinking of Greg?? You know how sometimes you just go into autopilot??
But hopefully things are pretty cut and dry, she admits fault and the claims have been filed, she recieved the citation by the police. Hopefully her insurance pays and there are are no unseen injuries that develop.
Thank you heavenly father for watching out for me and my kids! I hate to imagine what may have happened had they been in the car with me!!!

Wow, you are so lucky! I am so glad you are ok and so glad it wasn't your fault. I bet you are going to say a million prayers tonight! Sooooo glad you are ok!
So glad you are safe. So glad your kids are safe. Hopefully you aren't too sore next week. When my car was totaled, I was sore in places I didn't know existed. I'm just so glad no one got too hurt.
Char saw this accident and mentioned to me if I saw it. She didn't know it was you. I asked her if she recognized any of the cars and she said "no...one could have been Jami Jones' but...no" I didn't think anything else about it. I am so glad you weren't hurt!!!! That is scary! Are you still shaking from it? Accidents are not fun and it takes a while to recover from the shock! I hope you are doing well! Love you!
Do you ever fully recover from the shock? Not to be a downer but I don't think so or at least I am still jumpy in the car after I was hit head on 8 years ago. I am glad all is well and super sorry you have to deal with this.
I'm glad you are okay and that your girls weren't with you at the time.
