Deck the Halls

We were so excited to put up our decorations and tree this year. The kids even got a tree in their bedroom. I LOVE the excitement my kids have about Christmas. I don't want them to grow up!!!
Katie woke up the morning after putting up decorations and wanted to open present. We sent her back to bed and then I guess she forgot because about 2 hours later she came in again and asked if we could open presents. Sorry Katie!!! luckily you have a birthday in a few days and can open lots of presents!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a GREAT thanksgiving. We hosted dinner at our house with my family (my mom!) and Greg's parents, brother and his wife. It was pretty low key, luckily I didnt have to do much cooking. My mom offered to make the turkey and all the hard stuff! THANKS MOM!

Greg and his brothers did their annual football playing in the morning and then we just laid around looking at ads all day! Then we went to Greg's parents for desert. Saturday night Greg's family all came over here to visit and play games. Guitar Hero was the big hit and it was so much fun to watch everyone "play".

playgroup

Today Brielle's playgroup was at our house. We played fun games and made Indian feather hats. Even though there are 8 little 2 or 3 year olds they do really GREAT together. They had so much fun dressing up and playing pretend. Addison came over to help and I'm so glad that she did, she is so good with the little kids.

Disney on Ice

The girls had so much fun!! I LOVE to see the happiness on their faces... I would much rather watch them the entire show than watch it myself.
Thanks Mom for the tickets!

I never thought...

Katie would ever learn how to skip!
Bless her heart, she has been trying soooo hard for a few months and finally in the last 2 days she can finally do it! I'm afraid she may have my talent. or lack of. for rhythm and dance! I should have gotten video of it but this is the only picture I got.

Gas prices would ever be under $2.00 again. I have been so excited to see gas prices drop the last few weeks... today I finally saw prices under $2- I hope it stays for a while!!!

Snow Day

My kids have been wanting to play in the snow all day. They seem to not mind the cold but I can only stay out there for short periods of time. Isn't it strange how kids seem to not mind being extremely cold as long as they are having fun!

When we're helping we're happy!

The girls LOVE to help Daddy do whatever he is doing! (I secretly wish they were so excited to help me do things!) It is so cute and I love to watch them try to be like their Dad.
They have been so excited for snow ever since I got them some new snow boots for this year. I'm afraid they might want to wear them everyday, snow or not.

Going Private

I don't know how many of you watched the news last night on KSL but they ran a story about blogging and how people are being harassed and pictures stolen for obscene reasons. It really freaked me out about having so many pictures of my girls available for anyone to see or use as they see fit! Greg and I talked about it and he said I either needed to stop sharing so much info (what fun is that!) or go private.... so I decided to go private.
Send me an email if you want an invite jonzies2000@yahoo.com or leave a comment with you email address and I'll delete it as soon as I've added you.

Thanks!

Tea Party

Some of my friends and I went to Afternoon Tea at the Grand America Hotel. It was really fun to hang out with the girls and taste tea (which I have never had before!) . Don't worry it was herbal tea so I think that's OK right? I have never done anything like this ever and it was really a lot of fun- I think it would be so fun to take my girls to tea when they are older. What a great thing for a girls outing!

Spooky Halloween Night!

These 2 pictures crack me up! There was a really scary house with kids that would jump at you. katie and Addison really wanted to still go to the house (I was really suprised) So when they tried to scare the girls, Addison made a really scary face back and "scared" them! They both were so BRAVE so after we left I asked them to both show me their scary faces! Katie's face really looks very scary- Good job Katie!

Even though I was pretty much done with Halloween by the time it finally came around. After all the parties and celebrating it seemed like it was like a month long Holiday! My kids loved it and Katie kept saying " I love spooky Halloween night!"

We live in the best neighborhood and have the best friends and neighbors. Every year we get together at someones house for yummy soups and diner before trick-or-treating. This was the first year that my kids were both so excited and actually willing to walk up to doors. But after finally getting around the block (in about 2 hours!) Katie said "its too cold for me, I'm ready to go home!".
