HaPPy BiRtHDaY BrIElLe!

I can't believe that my baby is 3, she is getting so big. Brielle is such a crackup. She is always making us laugh and just has the cutest facial expressions and things she says. She was so excited for her Minnie Mouse Birthday. However, yesterday when I asked her if she was excited she told me that her birthday is in June and we should cancel the party. Luckily she changed her mind and later decided that a birthday today would be much better. She also told me as I was putting candles on her cake that she needed 4 candles, because "mom, you know I'm 4...come on!"

Today was so fun, it started with waking up to her room all decorated with streamers and balloons. Then she had a fun birthday party with family and friends. Each of the girls got Minnie Mouse ears and Carter got Mickey Mouse ears. Brielle didnt take hers off until she went to bed.We played pin the bow on MinnieShe was so cute when opening her presents, I loved her face and she was so gracious always saying thankyou and giving hugs. I LOVE this age!!!Greg made these cute cupcakes that looked like minnie mouse, with mini oreos for the ears. He also did the cake with pink polka dots and the sprinkles were put on by the birthday girl herself!

After the party, we rushed to the zoo.

Then, Carma's (Greg's mom) birthday is tomorrow so we met his family at Red Lobster for dinner. HaPPy BiRThDay CaRMa!!

Happy Valentines Day

Thursday night I surprised Greg and the girls with a candlelit dinner at home with just us. I prepared a yummy dinner of Ribs, potatoes, and asparagus (Greg's favorites!) and the girls helped me decorate the table by cutting out hearts. The girls favorite part was eating in the dark... it doesn't take much to entertain kids

Friday I got really sick and spent the entire day in bed, Thanks to my great friend Jen who took the kids the entire day and all night (she really is the GREATEST!) Luckily by Saturday I was feeling better and we were able to still go out to dinner at this yummy sushi place in The District and then to the Stake Valentines Dance (we know how to PaRtY!!!)
Greg gave me some beautiful flowers and a romantic mushy card that is always my favorite part of Valentines Day.

The girls got little bags from Greg and I filled with Valentines goodies. They each got a heart lollipop, a heart headband and heart socks

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentines day and got to be with someone they love!

So sweet!

Today Katie's cute preschool had a field trip to Sweet's Candy Factory. Brielle was so excited to be able to come too. I had to get some pictures of them in their "candy making" hats! Thanks Mrs. Emily for the fun day!

Something just for you!

OK so the people who respond to my post will not be as lucky as the ones on the blogs were this originated, but we can't all be creative geniuses. My sister-in-law Holly started this(well I think it came from someone else) but anyways I didnt respond fast enough so then lucky me, it was on Jens blog too!!!

Lucky you! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)

4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!

5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.

The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
