Fun with Friends

We were invited to go to Pineview with some of our friends. Greg had to work but I went up for the day with the girls and went out on the Hyte's boat and spent sometime at camp with everyone. It was a fun day! The girls each went out on the surf board with Darrin after MUCH persuasion. 

Katie needed a little extra persuasion to get in the water--- I am a mean mom!! But they both ended up having fun so it worked out :)

 I even tried the surf board for the first time ever- it was fun!! 

We also spent the 24th of July at the Hall's house to have a  BBQ and watch a firework show!

Summer Catchup-

I forget to download pictures from my phone and so I recently did and found some fun memories from this summer.... so here's a catchup on some fun summer things we've done

 Our friends the Chatlain's had a cute little baby girl Brynn and we loved snuggling her. Especially Katie :)

 My little brother Wilson was in an art show downtown called Raw Artists- he is very talented, I'm very proud of him 

Picking cherries in Orem is a summer tradition and as always it was a favorite with my kids.

Movies with friends: Monster U

Free food!!! 7-11 is free slurpee day and 7-12 is cow appreciation day and you can get free chicken at chick-fil-a if you dress up like a cow. 

We've spent lots of time at 7-peaks although I don't have many pictures.

 Katie got her braces off on July 3rd- isnt she beautiful!?!?!? 

Family Time

We had a great time camping at Tanners Flat the end of June with the Jones' for Ella and Megan's birthdays. 

 

 

We also went to a drive in and watched Despicable Me 2 and Spiderman with Tyler & Holly and the kids. We LOVE the drive-in!!

The girls have outgrown our old swingset and so we upgraded!! They LOVE LOVE LOVE it 

and I LOVE that they can go outside and be entertained for a while :)

Jessie is such a BIG girl- she loves the new swings and doesnt want a baby seat anymore

4th of July

 We had a fun day on the 4th. We started out by going to the parade in WJ with some friends. It was HOT and muggy but the kids always enjoy it :)  Then we celebrated Breanna's birthday with some YUMMY shaved ICE at the Old McMullin House with the Jones'.  Then we headed over to the always spectacular firework show in Sandy. YAY for fun with friends and family...
