 Jessica is getting so good at pulling herself up to things. She is even learning to get down (hallelujah!) But tonight she was standing next to the couch and I got the cute picture above- a little while later, probably about 10 minutes or so I look over and she has laid her head down and looks like she is about ready to fall asleep. She cracks me up- LOVE this girl ;)

High Tea

Activity Days is for girls ages 8-11 in our church. Every year we have a mother daughter activity and this year we had High-Tea. I LOVE being in this calling, the girls are so cute and we have LOTS of fun!  We made fancy hats and learned about etiquette and manners. Then we ate yummy food and drank water (instead of tea). It turned out so cute and we had lots of fun.

 

Its beginning to feel a lot like spring

I don't know about you..but we are LOVING this nice weather!

Greg was working on the basement on Saturday while I was at Costco with the kids. He calls me and just say "I've done something bad, where are you?" NOT something you want to hear! Luckily my neighbor was home and he was able to take him to the emergency room. 12 stitches later!!! 

apparently he isnt sure exactly how it happened but he was using a razor blade knife to cut out some sheet rock near the ceiling and it slipped. I guess he thought he would just catch it with his other hand. Luckily no tendons were cut and he should heal just fine. But it sure looks and I'm sure feels pretty gruesome.

Snuggling sisters!  

Heaven help me this little girls is growing up WAY too fast!! She has made some huge accomplishments in the last week! She is now pulling herself up on anything that she can. When I "try" to put her down for naps she immediately pulls herself up on her knees and calls for me to come and get her. It takes a good 5-6 times of laying her back down to finally work. This morning when I went to get her she had pulled herself all the way up to standing! You can tell she is just so proud of herself and LOVES it- until she realizes she can't get down, then there are some white knuckles and a few tears.  I can't believe it- she's be 7 months in a week!  She is also now sleeping through the night (at least the last 3 nights anyway from 8-7:30)  YAY!!!!!  I feel better already. Maybe all this crawling and constant going is wearing her out- me too!

Brielle's Rainbow PaRtY

Brielle has been looking forward to today all week. I think she was confused on when her "actual" birthday is. Today was her friend party and she wanted a rainbow party.  Greg and I made a fun rainbow cake- it was actually pretty easy to make and it turned out so cute. You just have to have a bunch of 8" round pans and food coloring. 

 The wild bunch! I have never been so tired- and thats saying a lot considering I have a 6 month old who still is not sleeping through the night.  This group had lots of energy and we had 2 hours of FUN! I'm so glad Brielle has some GREAT friends (and cousins)!

My life is about to get more difficult!

I remember distinctly looking forward to my first child to sit, crawl, get teeth... everything was so exciting and I couldnt wait for each new thing.  NOT THIS TIME! I want my little baby to stay little!!! Yet she is determined despite my discouragement and downright begging. Her newest skill is kindof an army crawl that will get her wherever she wants to go. I can no longer leave her in a spot on the carpet and expect her to stay put- and she is VERY interested in all things that she shouldn't have- ARGHH!!
