I always swore that I wouldn't be one of those moms that does everything with their first kid and by kid #2 or more you stop doing all those fun things.... Well unfortunately I have been horrible about getting Brielle in playgroups or activities like Katie was already doing at her age. But finally this morning, while Katie was in preschool, Brielle went to a really fun playgroup with about 7 other girls her age in the neighborhood. I wish I would have taken my camera because it was so cute to see all these little girls play together. Brielle was so excited but I don't think she understood what "playgroup" meant- I believe she thinks that is a persons name because she has been saying all day "It was so fun to play wit' my new fwend playgroup today"
Then we went to the grocery store this afternoon and the bagger girl Sarah was talking to the girls. I didnt really listen to their conversation because I was checking prices and paying etc... So on our way to the car Brielle says "My new fwend Sarah likes Belle!"

I feel the same way with Luke. I should be better at finding fun things for him, like I did with Laurel. I'm glad Brielle had fun at playgroup. It sounds like you have a good sized group like us. I'm sure yours will be a little different with 7 girls, as opposed to 7 boys.
You are super mom Jami. I have never gone to a play group and I am sure my girls have suffered because of it! =)
