Tonight was Katie and her cousin Ella's dance recital for C&C Ballet academy.They have loved being in the same class and Katie loved her teacher Ms Dawn. After class on Wednesday she just cried because she was going to miss her so much. (OK so a little dramatic!) But she has had a lot of fun.
The recital was themed "A Night at the Circus" so all the classes did dances having to do with the circus. Katie's class were the Dancing Monkeys. They did such a GREAT job! Katie was so excited to perform and when she got on stage she waved and smiled really big, it was cute. I'll post some video later.

I'm laughing at this post. My friends, Andy & Leslie, have nieces that performed in that. They lamented that every yr. the program gets longer. 3 hours this time! They said they wish they wouldn't give the older people as much floor time as the little girls. They love watching all the little ones. Katie is ADORABLE!!!
Luckily they seperate the program and do the little girls first so we actually left after that. It was only about 1.5 hours... not too bad!

Fun times but we are glad it is over for the summer. I loved Katie's dance, it was cute.
