This is what I hear EVERY time we get in the car to go anywhere. You would think I would get smart and make sure that the kids get a drink right before we leave but we are usually rushing out the door it seems.
Tonight we were coming home from the in-laws and Katie started the second we pulled out of the neighborhood. She's a little tired and a little sugar induced so she's overly dramatic and screaming and crying about dying of thirst.
Brielle, trying to calm the situation says to Katie "Katie, just swallow your spit" like this is the most novel best idea ever, and she said it so sweetly like she was really trying to help.

That is FUNNY!!! We had similar issues. Now I stock the fridge with pre-filled take and toss cups. Just grab and go.
ha ha ha! That girl is always thinkin'! that's a great story...especially if it made Katie quit screaming. :)
And Brielle looks like a natural blonde. ;)
Too funny. I try to keep sippy cups full of water in the car, because my kids are ALWAYS thirsty! Next time I'll tell them to swallow their spit.
