Children's Museum

Katie has been wanting to go to the Children's Museum for weeks and so we finally planned a day to go. The kids love it there, I just wish it wasn't so far away!

Happy New Year- 2009!

We had such a great 2008. My highlights for the year were going to Disneyland, and pretty much the entire summer. Every weekend we went camping and we just played it was great!
For the new year I have made a few resolutions:

1- read my scriptures more and attend the temple more!
2- eat healthier and keep exercising
3- learn how to use photoshop
4- sew more
5- get organized!!!!!
6- catch up on scrapbooking for the girls, create memory boxes for them

I am really excited for this year... things are going to change around here. Greg is going to be changing jobs (hopefully we'll know next week- more to come!). Its a huge deal for us because he has worked for his dad FOREVER and venturing out is a little scary! I think it will be GREAT and I am so proud of Greg for all his hard work and willingness to support our family!

time confusion

Brielle is learning about time and numbers and says some of the funniest things.

me: "Brielle, you are getting so big!"
Brielle: "I will be 5 in a minute mom!" (if only she knew how true this is!)

me: "Brielle do you need to go potty?"
Brielle: "NO, I went weeks ago!"

me: "Brielle did you sleep good last night?"
Brielle: "Yep, I fell asleep 3 months ago and slept a long time"

Brielle: Mom, it says you are 30 o'clock

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

We had such a GREAT Christmas this year. Brent and Cherese spent the night and we got TONs of snow Christmas morning. We hung out here and my mom and Grandma came for breakfast. Then we went to Greg's parents for dinner. It was a really fun day.

Katie and Brielle both got new scooters. I guess they will have to ride them in the house for a while!

Browning Christmas Bash

Tonight was my family Christmas party with my mom's family. My cousin Shari's house is so beautiful and roomy and we all had a GREAT time playing games (although that Guitar Hero game was not calibrated because I totally could have kicked Jayden's butt!!!) We ate yummy "Cafe-rio" salads and of course broke the sound barrier with all the loud yelling during catch phrase!
My grandma made the cutest blankets for all the great-grand kids. She is so thoughtful, we LOVE her!!!

Yes Katie and Brielle there is a Santa Claus

We wrote our letters to Santa about a week ago and then put them in a mailbox at Macey's (grocery store) and tonight we got a reply! The girls were so excited. The letter is so cute and is sent from the North Pole. Santa knows that both girls are on the nice list and that they have been very good this year.
