We finally had to let the butterflies go and Katie was not happy about it. Poor little girl! She cried and cried for a long time after they were gone and was absolutely histerical as they were flying away. She really LOVED them!
Katie is our sensitive soft hearted girl. She just loves animals of any size and just wanted to keep them forever. We explained that they needed to fly or they would die but that was little consulation.

oh that face!!! It's so SAD! :(
awwwww...so sad. we had to leave on vacation just before they were supposed to hatch out (or whatever you call it)...we missed the whole thing and my sis. had to let them go (she was watching our house). we should try it again and plan better this time!
