I have such mixed feeling about Katie starting first grade. She is excited, so that is good. I want her to spend time with her friends and learn lots.... But, I am do NOT like the idea of having her gone at school more than she is home. She is starting a life were Mommy is no longer the center of it :( It makes me so sad!!! This is such a life change from having your kids so close to you all the time and then turning them over to "the world".
Enough about that.... I really am excited for her though and she is going to do GREAT!!! She is so dang cute and sweet. She is going to make tons of friends and is going to learn a lot this year!
She really wanted her bangs cut so Tiffany fit us in and she looks so different- I really like it but she could be bald and be adorable!
She is 6 (I can't believe it!!!)
She has some kids in her class from last year plus some friends that live really close by so that is good. Her teacher's name is Mrs Fullmer. So far she seems GREAT, I'm looking forward to a really fun year.

I love her toothless smile! You were so brave today. I knew I wouldn't cry, but there were times through out the day I really missed him :( It will be an adjustment....
Katie looks so cute with bangs! I'm sure you both did great on the 1st day!
It could be that I haven't seen Katie forever, but I think those bangs make her look older.
What a cutie. She will have a wonderful year. I really liked Mrs. Fullmer.
We made it through the first few days. All of us, the girls and the moms. Hope the rest of the year gets easier.
