I married a "project" man. Now when I say projects, he is definetly an architect(dreamer) of projects and starter of many projects but there is much to be finished!!!!! Here is a quick update of all the honey do's my sweet Greg must FINISH before he even dreams of starting any outside projects for the summer!!! I hope he reads this....
#1 About 3 months ago Greg tore out my shower floor and said "I will have this finished in 2 weeks!" well as you can see it hasn't progressed very far!! I think for the 5 years that we have lived in this house, we have showered in the hall shower about 4 years of that (before this last time we stopped showering in it for a while because of the grout cracking out!)
#2 Both my fireplace legs and my stair railing have never been stained!

#3 This is my biggest area of grief!! This is the end of my island that faces the front door! When we built the house Greg had plans of having someone?? build us some bean drawers (glass front) to go here. Remember, we have lived in this house for 5 years! Would this drive anyone else crazy???

I love my husband and I have to give him somewhat of the benefit of the doubt... he really is a hard worker and does great things!! He built an amazing deck(still partially unfinished!) And has been working extremely hard on the basement. He has done all the framing, electrical, Heating.... and we are almost ready for sheetrock. My only fear is that as soon as the weather is nice, he will again leave lots of projects unfinished and I might just go crazy!!!

Oh yes and don't let me forget the project that my husband would say is the most important and he wishes he could be working on all the time!! The heap of bug parts in my garage that Greg tells me will someday be a car! We'll see =)
LOVE YOU SWEETIE, NOW GET TO WORK!!! hehe

I didn't know we could put our complaints on a blog and they get done. may I add I do almost everything without help from the little misses. Love that little slave driver. P.S. may the work on eveything cease and the work on the bug commence. S.L.A.C rules

lol... too funny... Greg you are doing a great job! Ü at least you are able to do everything without having to hire someone else... Think of all the money you are saving.... Love ya Sis! heehee
I L-O-V-E that post. It's my favortie one so far. I'm sorry, Greg, but I am sitting on my computer, laughing hysterically! Have a great weekend. Looks like maybe we won't be seeing you guys...although Addison might freak out if she goes one more day without seeing Katie. :)

That is so funny! Greg is so cute to have all these projects and ideas; he really is creative! Good luck on everything. Even with unfinished projects, though, you really have a great house!
p.s. I never realized your fireplace posts weren't stained.
Look at it this way.....at least your husband is a handyman. Mine on the other hand is NOT. I just finished cleaning up a flooded bathroom because my husband tried to fix a leaky sink. My husband would rather just pay people to fix things for him. Anyway, thanks for the laugh. I should send you a pic of my flooded bathroom and all of my girls soaking wet and very sorry looking hair accessories.....
