Greg works late sometimes on Wednesday so this morning we decided to do something fun while he was home. We drove to Thanksgiving Point and walked around the gardens. Katie kept saying "wow... look at how beautiful that is... look how amazing that is..." it was really cute. We were going to go to the dinasaur museum but I can't believe how pricey it is for the little time we could have spent there we couldnt justify it. But I did find out that during August , Thanksgiving Point is doing $2 Tuesdays. So every Tuesday you can get into any venue for just $2!! I'm totally going next Tuesday if anyone wants to come!
Then we drove home on the road that goes up over the mountain between Lehi and Draper. Greg and his crazy brother and sister-in-law biked over the top of this mountain on Monday and after driving it I can't believe he didnt DIE! What a crazy thing to do!!!
Katie is starting to actually pose for pictures. Its amazing and she'll actually look at the camera.
Katie was telling me that she is 4- as if I could forget!
I love the gardens... I wish my yard could look like this!!
Then once we got into Draper we decided to drive over to see the new temple... its almost done and I can't believe I've never driven up there. It is a beautiful temple and I can't wait to see it at the open house!

We might have to come. Ella has been begging to go to the Dinosaur Museum, & I think $2 sounds like a do-able price!
OH MY WORD!!! Jami...I am so glad that guy didn't turn at the perfect moment just as your flash went off! GOOD GRIEF THAT WAS DARING. So what happens when the station asks for his name? Are you going to let it out that it was really Greg?!! OH YOU KNOW I AM KIDDING GREG!! HE he he!! :)LOL!
Come visit! Miss you guys!
Miss my easy calling. I know I say that all the time, but BOY LIFE WAS GOOD! :)
Dang ... Emerie has preschool on Tuesdays. If you go in the afternoon, let me know.
I love Thanksgiving Point. We walked through there this spring when the trees were all in bloom. It was breath-taking. Wish I could make the dinosaur trip. Do you know the stories about Grandpa York and how he dug dinosaur bones up by Vernal. The bones are in the Carnegie Museum and the U of U museum of Natural History. I have some pictures.
We just did Thanksgiving Point for the first time. We had done the farm before, but not the gardens or the museum. We loved it and had a blast. It was beautiful. You sound like me trying to squeeze in every minute of family time when your husband is home. What does Greg do? Oh, and yes Scott is still in Wal-Mart management! It's good, but in retail they never close. That part is hard.
