Yesterday morning Katie said that her ear hurt so I called the Dr and made an appointment. The first appointment they had was 4:30 so all day I kept asking her if her ear hurt and she would say "no" and she was playing and was feeling much better. So I canceled the DR appt and we decided to go out to dinner with some friends and as we were leaving she started saying her ear hurt again. But then quickly said "no, I'm OK" so we made sure she was OK and headed to dinner. As soon as we got in the car after eating she starting crying and complaining about her ear and of course this is 8:00- right when the DR's office closes! So we take her home and put her to bed but she's up every hour last night crying that her ear really hurts. So first thing this morning we took her to the Dr and she has a burst eardrum!! Poor little girl. He also said that her rash is a staff infection.. I have no idea how she got that but now she's on 3 different pills/creams and hopefully will feel better soon!!!

So sorry about Katie. I am glad you found out what was making her sick, so she can start to feel better!

I'm sorry Jami. We have been battling illness at our house to and it is hard. Our poor little ones when they get sick it is horrible. I hope that Katie feels better soon!
A burst eardrum???
Did she do something to cause it or did it just happen?
That's crazy!!! Is she okay now?
