Christmas Stockings

I had this crazy idea to make stockings for my family this year. My friend Kim had the cutest stockings she had made for her family and I loved them. So I got the pattern and she helped me a TON!! and after I don't know like 1,000 hours later... they are finally done!!!

Dancing Debut

Katie just started ballet this year. She is LOVING it. Last night was her first recital, and she looked so beautiful and did such a GREAT job!!! We are so proud of her. If I figure out how to put video on here I'll post the dance, it was to the tune of "Joy to the World"... it was so cute, and I'm not just biased!
It was so fun to watch Katie and some of her friends, Addison, Abby, Allie, Addison (a different Addison) and Macie dance. Something about little girls in the most adorable costumes dancing just makes me happy!

Christmas Fun

Katie's letter to Santa... If you can't read it, it says a Tea Set and Diamond Castle Barbie.

For family night this week we decorated a gingerbread house. The kids really had fun, but Brielle had even more fun eating all the candy. If you saw the house today it is pretty bare!

Happy birthday to my BABY!

Katie turned 5 years old today. She really learned to take full advantage of her Birthday. Since it was on a Sunday this year she celebrated her birthday all week. On Thursday her Nana came and took her for a fun day, on Friday was her friend party, and Saturday Greg and I took her out to diner (Chick-fil-a, her choice) and to the mall... she kept saying "I get to choose what we do because its MY birthday"!! Then today we had friends over for dinner and brownies!

I can't believe how fast time has flown since she was born. She is such a sweet, sensitive, caring girl. She is my snuggler and my little princess! We love Katie so much and are so lucky to have her in our family. Happy Birthday!!!!

A very merry un-birthday to you!

Since Katie's birthday is on Sunday this year we had an early birthday party for her today. She has been spoiled all week. Her Nana came and picked her up for a special day yesterday, took her shopping to get a build-a-bear and to lunch! She LOVED it!!! Then today was a party and its not even her birthday for 2 more days!

Festival of the Trees

This tree was so cool. We found out it sold for $28,000- wow!

A special visit from Santa! Both kids were happy this year, and told Santa what they wanted... I really need to figure out what Brielle means when she says "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse"- does she want the entire clubhouse???
